WALKS

There are a number of walking tracks located close to the cottages which can be enjoyed.

  • Bibbulmun Track into Pemberton – only 1.1 kms from our cottages

  • Tramway Trail and Big Brook Arboretum – opposite our cottages, download mud map

  • Big Brook Dam – 4 kms loop, download mud map 

  • Gloucester Tree Walk (and climb!) – a 3 km walk near Pemberton

  • Beedelup Falls - approx a 1.5 km walk near Karri Valley

  • Warren River Loop Walk – a 10 km walk just south of Pemberton

 

Or travel further afield maybe to Salmon Beach at Windy Harbour (sealed road, wild pristine beach), to Northcliffe for more of the Bibbulmun Track or to Walpole (with the fabulous Tree Top Walk) which is a 1½ hour drive from Pemberton.

Discovery Tour
Donnelly River Cruises
Enjoy a relaxed cruise from the Karri to the Coast. Meandering along the 12 km section of the Donnelly River, we will transverse a diverse eco system that is only accessible by boat. From the lush Jarrah and Karri forests, through the Paperbark and wetlands, to the limestone cliffs and majestic Southern Ocean.
Tramway
The Pemberton Tramway Company Pty Ltd is a privately operated tourist railway in the south west of Western Australia, which conveys tourists through deep forests and picturesque countryside as well as recreating the history of the timber railways that were so important to the regions development and growth.
Mountain Bike
Pemberton Mountain Bike Tracks - cross country, free ride and down hill sections
Horse Ride
Enjoy the forest from the back of a horse at Tales of the Trail. Small groups, safe horses and knowledgeable guides.
